Humans as Aquifers (2005)

VanGogh/video/VanGogh, piano (Scott Marosek), narrator (Jessica Leza)

those times in which we exist simply to move water from place to place.

"Dehydration is the loss of water and important blood salts such as potassium and sodium. The kidneys, brain, and heart cannot function without a minimum of water and salt. Signs of Dehydration begin with thirst, dry mouth, cracked lips, and progress with the development of sunken eyes, a rapid but weak pulse, cold hands and feet, blue lips, rapid breathing, confusion, and lethargy. Untreated severe dehydration may result in seizures, permanent brain damage, or death. Thank you for coming tonight. Please turn off any cell phones, pagers, or electrical devices."
