Electric Monk is comprised of two brothers, Kyle and Brent Scheihagen, who have been writing songs since high school. Influenced at an early age by the Beatles and growing up with a shared interest in groups like Radiohead, U2, and others, both have devoted time to the notion of capturing ideas in the form of songs. Well-traveled, the brothers have performed together in such far flung places as Taiwan, Sweden and Austin, Texas where Electric Monk was truly formed with the help of friend, Chris Rogers.
Their music is commonly of a spiritual nature, expressing the light and the dark of life (and death!) in a technologically-driven age.
